Dr Rabin Jason Vikrama

Experienced General Practitioner

Dr. Rabin (MBBS, FRCGP) is a highly experienced and trusted General Practitioner with over 17 years of clinical expertise in family medicine and primary care; 10 of which, spent serving in regional Australia.

He provides thorough, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages, managing everything from routine check-ups and vaccinations, to chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.

Known for his warm and approachable manner, Dr. Rabin takes time to listen to his patients and offers clear, tailored health advice. He is passionate about preventive healthcare and helping patients lead healthier lives.

Dr Phillis Jebron

General Practitioner

Dr. Phillis Jebron (MBBS, DCH, FRACGP) is an experienced and compassionate GP. She graduated from Monash University in 2009 and completed hospital trainings across Victoria and New South Wales before moving to Mildura in 2014.

Dr Phillis enjoys the variety that general practice offers and values the opportunity to care for families over time. She also works as a medical educator and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of doctors.

Her special interests include child and adolescent health, women’s health, antenatal care, preventative medicine, and minor surgical procedures.

In her spare time, she enjoys the simple things in life like cooking and gardening.

She consults at Mildura Family Medical Centre on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, starting 28th July 2025.

Dr Anand Patel

General Practitioner

Consulting Hours at Mildura Family Medical Clinic: Saturdays only

Dr Anand Patel is a highly experienced and compassionate General Practitioner with over 10 years of medical practice in Mildura. He has previously worked at Mildura Base Hospital across various departments, gaining broad clinical experience before moving into general practice. Known for his patient-centred approach, he has built strong community ties and is committed to providing high-quality care for patients of all ages.

Dr Patel is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and offers holistic care tailored to individual needs.

Skin cancer diagnosis and treatment

In addition to his clinical work, he is an accredited supervisor involved in teaching, mentoring, and training future doctors and GP registrars.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, Dr Patel supports patients from diverse backgrounds in a respectful and inclusive environment.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, kite flying, and traveling with his family.

Dr Inthira Balasubramaniam

Experienced General Practitioner

Dr. Balasubramaniam (MBBS, FRACGP) is a skilled General Practitioner with extensive experience across all areas of general practice. With qualifications and training from both Australia and Malaysia, she has a special interest in maternal and child health, paediatrics, women’s health, and preventative medicine.

After working in Far North Queensland, Dr. Balasubramaniam moved to Mildura in 2019 with her husband and son. Along with her broad medical expertise, she is multilingual and offers consultations in English, Malay, Russian, and Tamil, ensuring she can serve a diverse range of patients.

Dr Sudaraka Wickremasena

Specialist General Physician

Dr Sudaraka Wickremasena (MBBS, FRACP, MD in Medicine, MRCP) is a Specialist General Physician who we are fortunate enough to have consult from our Clinic for one session per week.

Since February 2019, he has been working in the role of Staff Specialist Physician at Mildura Base Public Hospital. He has also been the Director of Physician Education for Mildura Base Hospital and Bayside-Pennisula Consortium from March 2022 to present, as well as being posted as Adjunct Senior Lecturer through Monash Rural Health Mildura since March 2021. To see Dr Wickremasena, a GP referral is required.

Dr Sukhwinder Marwaha

General Practitioner

Qualifications— MBBS, FRACGP, DCH, Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine

Dr Marwaha is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been practicing as a GP for more than 25 years. He completed his medicine degree in India before moving to Regional Queensland. He worked in Ingham, Queensland, for eight years where he enjoyed providing holistic care to rural communities. He has been a mentor for Medical Students from Monash University. He studied Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Children’s Hospital Westmead, University of Sydney, NSW.

His special areas of interest are preventive health for men and women, weight management, skin cancer checks and minor procedures, comprehensive health checks, iron infusions, implanon insertion/removal. He is also experienced in providing comprehensive corporate and pre-employment medical assessments.

He is passionate about providing quality healthcare to individuals and families. He loves most areas of medicine and enjoys making a difference in healthcare of all ages from the very young to the elderly.

Outside of work, Sukhwinder enjoys playing badminton and spending time with family. He has been practising and teaching meditation for more than ten years and always curious to share with others.

Dr Tom Gleeson

Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME)

Qualifications— MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Gleeson is an experienced General Practitioner who obtained his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2005. He achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2011 and has more recently been appointed as a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

Before relocating to Mildura in 2020, Dr Gleeson spent several years practising in rural Queensland, where he developed a strong interest in comprehensive, community-based care. His extensive experience in regional and rural medicine has given him a deep understanding of the diverse healthcare needs of these communities.

Outside of work, Dr Gleeson has an interest in flying and is a pilot with PPL and has his own V-Tail Bonanza.

Dr Gleeson is now consulting exclusively for Aviation Medical Examinations at Mildura Family Medical Centre.
